The First Kingdom Kids Baptized in Budapest

There is no greater joy for a parent than to see the child he raised make it into God's Kingdom. The church in Budapest is 17 years old, and although we have children who have grown up in the church since they were young, unfortunately they all decided to not become Christians. We started to become more desperate in prayer seeking God's guidance to do whatever it takes to convert our children, and God has answered our prayers.

Northwest Youth Camp Report: Hardcore

Almost 270 teens and counselors meet in Spokane WA for NW Youth Camp. There were youth from Anchorage, Winnipeg, Vancouver, Spokane, Seattle, Missoula, Bozeman, Great Falls, San Diego, Portland, Sacramento, Ashland, Tacoma, and Boise. The theme for the 2010 camp was Hardcore.

This is Not Your Mother’s Prom…

This title is a reference to a car commercial which touts a new perspective on an established brand which has been around for generations – it is similar to the way my children are reinventing the idea of being teenagers. I am a grateful mom of two young people who are stronger in their convictions about the Lordship of Jesus and more determined to be a light to this dark world than I ever thought about being at their ages.

Miami Teenager Joyfully Leaves This World

Martin Solano Jr. (pictured on left with T.J. Deam) was a faithful disciple in the teen ministry of the South Florida Church of Christ. Martin was diagnosed with a brain tumor two years ago, and passed away on December 11, 2009 at the age of 13, but he didn't leave us without making a major impact in tons of our lives.

Tampa Bay Teenagers Take the Plunge

There is much good news to report from the Tampa Bay Church's Teen Ministry this year!   The Teen Disciples have grown to a total of eight.  Three teens graduated this year leaving two Disciples in the Teen Ministry, one of which was baptized earlier this year.   Since July there have been five baptisms plus a disciple that moved here from South Florida.  There are also multiple studies going on now so that number is sure to grow.

Anti-violence Message Strikes Chord in the LA Community
