We should always look for nuggets of wisdom to help pass along faith to our kids. At the International Leadership Conference in Denver (September 2009), Sam Laing (Athens, Georgia) and Adrian Hill (London) taught an inspiring and practical lesson entitled "Faith and the Family".

"Voices of the Spirit" is a group of very talented young people from the very supportive Atlanta Metropolitan Christian Church in Atlanta, Georgia. The purpose of this vocal group is to use their voices as a spiritual act of worship and pray that the lyrical content in the songs they sing will reach someone's heart and bring them closer to God.

One of the many highlights from last month's ICYFM: Ron and Linda Brumley's keynote message entitled, "Parents Living the Legacy". The Brumley's shared their wisdom on parenting, including "The Ten Commandments of Parenting Teens". For future generations, all across the nations…you gotta live it to give it.” (Legacy of Faith theme song) After an action-packed two-plus days, the International Conference of Youth and Family concluded Saturday afternoon in Chicago.

After a fantastic opening night, day two of the ICYFM brought us more inspiration to share a Legacy of Faith with future generations. The lineup Friday featured dynamic keynote messages, role-specific workshops, numerous classes, and panel discussions to hit many hot topics.

Parents, church leaders, and youth workers from around the globe kicked off the International Conference of Youth and Family Ministry Thursday night. More than 700 people are in Chicago for the seminar with parents making up nearly half of those in attendance.
