There is serious political upheavel in Tunisia, where there are 6 disciples, including my husband, who went on a contract job 3 weeks ago. They live and work there and their children go to school there. Right now they are all hiding in their homes, as rioting, looting and shooting go on in the city all around them.
The neighborhoods they live in have been targeted by the escaped convicts, despite the dawn to dusk curfew, and the police are doing everything they can to protect these neighborhoods. I am in constant contact with Pierre and all the brothers and sisters there, they are well and have enough provisions in their homes to not have to go out for several days.
It is very frightening, though, especially for the children, but they are praying and singing in their respective homes and are very faithful and trusting in the Lord to see them through. As Christians, living in Tunisia has enough challenges on the best of days, but this is on another scale and they all had to go through this in Abidjan in 2003 as well, which was the reason they were relocated by their company to Tunis back then...
