Marcia and I were in Manhattan the day the world changed -- September 11, 2001. In a brief moment, one of the single most evil atrocities in the history of mankind killed over 2,750* people from over 60 countries, left thousands of children without a parent, jolted the USA into a grieving resolve and forged an unprecedented global unity of nations against terrorism.

When is the last time you heard a sermon on hell or the second coming of Christ? What will heaven be like and will the lost suffer eternal torment? What faith do I need for today? What could God be waiting for to end the world?

The Central Ministry Center of the Chicago Church of Christ presented a powerful set of sermons this summer on Heaven, Hell, Faith and the Speed His Coming. You can download, listen and share them for your quiet times, car rides, exercise inspiration, etc.

"Speed His Coming" was originally delivered at the 1988 Midwest Evangelism Seminar in Chicago the first time God filled the Medinah Auditorium with 4,000 people. It has been my most requested and most commented on sermon. The newest version is an update for our churches today.

Each year the Florida congregations of the International Churches of Christ gather for an incredible conference to honor God, grow their unity, advance the Lord's mission, renew old friendship and build new relationships. This year's Florida Discipleship Conference focused on "Portraits of Jesus." Check out this summary video.

In a professional survey of church attenders, 83% responded that "the church website was somewhat to very important in fascilitating their participation in the church community." We are thrilled that God has blessed three new married couples who met on DTHeartandSoul.com Jeremy Lambert and Sandra Herrerra were married August 27th in Springfield, Massachusetts! Sandra moved there from Denver last year to pursue their relationship.
