We know that God has a plan, and we know the ultimate goal of his plan. But we never know his ways!

A few years ago, we talked about hiring a couple to help us here in Lyon. It took us a while to really know what we wanted and to find the resources.

Update from Paris: The Love of God

Photo taken by Alyssa Thomas
It was a beautiful day in the City of Love. The sun was shining and the nation was celebrating its freedom with parades and fire works. In Paris that morning there was a wonderful military parade down the beautiful Avenue des Champs-Elysées. During his address to the nation, President Hollande announced that we would finally be lifting the nationwide State of Emergency which had been in effect since the November 13th attacks in Paris. People spent the day shopping the summer sales, visiting the sites, relaxing in the many beautiful Parisian parks, or any other host of things people do when enjoying a day off.

Help the Munich Church Help Refugees

Every day the media show us images of tens of thousands of refugees from Syria and Iraq pouring through the borders of Southern Europe to seek asylum in the countries of Europe. The vast majority of refugees will be taken in by Germany, and you’ll be encouraged to know that good-hearted Germans, including disciples from the Munich International Church of Christ, are helping to meet the needs as the trains arrive there.

Good News from Luxembourg!

Then Jesus asked him, “What is your name?”“My name is Legion,” he replied, “for we are many.” And he begged Jesus again and again not to send them out of the area.

As Jesus was getting into the boat, the man who had been demon-possessed begged to go with him. Jesus did not let him, but said, “Go home to your own people and tell them how much the Lord has done for you, and how he has had mercy on you.” So the man went away and began to tell in the Decapolis how much Jesus had done for him. And all the people were amazed.
