Report from Cesar Lopez, Phnom Penh, Cambodia:
Pepeng has changed its course NE toward Cagayan. However, it is moving very slowly at 13 kph. That means that rain will be over Luzon for a longer period of time which may further worsen the previous calamity brought by Ondoy. Keep Alert Everyone!
Report from Charles Ham, HOPE worldwide Indonesia:
By the grace of God, all of our brothers and sisters in the churches in Sumatra, Indonesia are safe, but many of them are accompanying HOPE workers on disaster teams. The electricty in all of Padang is still off. The Indonesian government continues the evacuation for people trapped under buildings (see photo). A second team of disciples and HOPE workers is being mobilized to help orphaned children through play therapy. Please continue to hold the Indonesian people and our brothers and sisters in your prayers.
