Columbia Church of Christ announces 30 Year Campus Reunion!

They will celebrate your abundant goodness and joyfully sing of your righteousness.

In celebration of all that God has done through 30 years in our campus ministry, it is with great joy that the Columbia, South Carolina Church of Christ announces our Campus Reunion Weekend to be held October 26-28 right here in the heart of Gamecock Country. Over the years, God has been moving powerfully on the campuses of South Carolina. Our congregation has seen well over 2,000 people baptized into Christ since 1977, with a large percentage of these coming from the University of South Carolina, Benedict College, Midlands Technical College and other schools in the area. Lives have been transformed, life-long romances begun and eternal friendships forged. Dozens of men and women have served on the campus ministry staff and many others have worked tirelessly as committed Christian students on our campuses. These former ministers and students are now scattered all across the globe, strengthening scores of congregations with the convictions and faith they found during their early years in Columbia.


If you are one of these people, this weekend is for you! We invite anyone who has ever been a part of the Columbia Campus Ministry at any time during our 30 year history to come join us for a weekend of remembering, reminiscing, rekindling and revival. We will enjoy the fellowship of old friends, we will be fed both physically and spiritually and, most of all, we will celebrate our God who has made all of this possible.

The weekend begins on Friday evening with a special banquet for all our alumni. On Saturday we will gather around the big screen to cheer on the Gamecocks and Steve Spurrier???s Cock???n???Fire offense as they defeat their SEC football rival, the Tennessee Volunteers. The weekend concludes with a powerful worship service, including preaching by Randy McKean, Evangelist of the Northern Virginia Church of Christ and our Campus Minister here in Columbia some 30 years ago!

The cost for the weekend is only $40 per person.
