There will be a class at the ICMC specifically designed for high school seniors.
New Alumni Track Designed For All Ages of Campus Ministry Alumni!
This year, the East Coast ICMC introduces a new program designed for all campus ministry alumni. This program will begin Friday evening with a special reception and will join with the ICMC for the main sessions. On Saturday, there will be a separate workshop that will inspire ongoing zeal for Jesus in the professional world. Smaller classes will be tailored to specific career fields. These classes will also be open for rising college seniors and graduate students. In this way we hope to build a bridge that gives students a vision of being a radical and faithful disciple in the working world while also reinvigorating all campus alumni with campus ministry fervor. Please join us for this unique and inspirational opportunity!
AIM Session to Take Place After ICMC
The Athens Institute of Ministry (AIM) will host a special session in conjunction with the East Coast ICMC. The session will review 2000 years of church history! Teachers Douglas Jacoby, Ed Anton, Joey Harris, and Sam Laing will teach on general church history, give a background on the patristic fathers, and give insight into the reformation movement of the 16th century and the restoration movement of the 19th century. Several classes will specifically address our roots: the Churches of Christ, Crossroads, the Boston movement and the ICOC. Anyone can register for this course on the ICMC website. Not only will this provide a greater perspective of our history, but this course fulfills a requirement of the ICOC certificate program and also can be taken for college credit through Lincoln Christian University.
Students all over the east coast have spent time raising funds for several different HOPE projects. Join us on the Saturday morning of the ICMC in a 5K run / walk as we celebrate what God has done, as we raise awareness for these great needs, and as we Run For THEIR Lives! All ICMC and Alumni participants are automatically registered for the race. Others can register at the race site for only $15.
