What is the weather like in July?
Summer weather in Georgia is generally warm and sunny with highs around 88 F, lows around 68 F and occasional afternoon showers. Plan to bring warm weather attire and bring layers for cooler evening temperatures and indoor air conditioning.  Check weather forecasts ahead of your trip before packing (www.weather.com has a 10-day forecast that might be helpful).

What should I bring with me?
If you’re staying in the dorms, you will need to bring your own bed linens and towels.  Also, plan to bring your best country western attire to be ready for the Saturday night party.

Is the conference registration fee refundable?
A portion of your registration fee may be refundable on a case by case basis. (i.e. Health or family emergencies, etc.) If you’ve already registered and cannot attend, send an email to: This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. to submit your request for a refund.

When should I arrive?
Please review the schedule to determine when you should arrive and make your plans accordingly. There will be a Campus Staff Workshop during the day on Thursday, while the Opening Session for the conference is Thursday evening. If flying in, please give yourself at least two hours from landing at the airport for the commute to Athens. If you plan to stay in the dorms, you MUST check in during the scheduled check-in times.
