As the school year comes to a close, there is great news coming out of the Alpha Omega Campus Ministry in Sacramento! On May 18, 2008, Kris Borer was baptized! It started in the beginning of the school year when James Neary, a brother who attends the University of California, Davis, invited Kris to a devotional. What is unique about this invitation was that Kris is James’ younger brother and it just happens that he had returned home from the Air Force. Naturally, the Spirit moved in James’ heart to reach out to his younger brother. After persistence, Kris decided to study the Bible with several brothers and, at the end of this school year, he decided to make Jesus Lord.
Let us continue to pray for Kris to grow in his newfound faith in Christ. To Him be the glory!
