Ian Scott returned to the National Football League last Monday night. In front of a nationally-televised audience, Ian (#98) got back into action at defensive tackle for the San Diego Chargers, making two tackles (including one for a loss) in the Chargers 34-23 loss to the Denver Broncos.
After getting cut by the Chargers late in the preseason, San Diego re-signed Ian to the team a couple of weeks ago.
Since starting at defensive tackle in the Super Bowl for the Chicago Bears, Ian has battled knee injuries the last three years.
Ian and his wife, Crystal, are disciples in the San Diego Church of Christ and his parents serve as elders in the Gainesville Christian Church.
