Ministry Training Program Hosted by the Cincinnati Church of Christ
May 11- June 1, 2014
bibleQuietTimeLast year the Cincinnati Church of Christ hosted its first ever Ministry Training Program. Because of the huge success of this program last year, CCOC is offering MTP gain. This program is designed to foster Biblical understanding through in-class practicum and practical discipleship through on the field training. We brought in many evangelists from the Ohio Valley churches as well a special guest speaker: Doug Arthur. From the hard work of each participant and God’s power 8 people were baptized through this program! Information about MTP 2014 may be found at the end of this article, following these testimonies from a few of last year’s participants:

"One of the best experiences of my life! Never had so much hands on training and discipling!
Learned so many invaluable lessons and made incredible friendships in such little time! Really
got to see the power of God move as we saw 8 people give their lives to Christ!"
Branden Yoshino. Cincinnati, OH

"I enjoyed every piece of MTP! I felt like the classroom part of the program really provided me
with tools to deepen my personal study and understanding of the bible. When we were "on the
field," the challenges helped me discover different strategies to effectively reach out to people.
This whole experience really gave me confidence and compelled me further as a disciple."
- Jameeda Rucker. Philadelphia, PA

"To put it bluntly, MTP reformed my walk with God. We took on the world with brothers and
sisters, forming bonds and relationships that have carried well past those short three weeks."
- Jimmy Black. Lexington, KY

"MTP was an amazing three weeks of my summer and well worth the time and money. MTP
challenged me to push myself in many different areas but the best part about MTP was the
joining with other men and women my age to be trained, build great friendships, and see fruit
which God produced."
- Brian Mackie. Blacksburg, VA

We are excited to once again host this great opportunity. The cost for this 3 week program is $250. Housing for out of town participants will be provided by CCOC members. Applications are due on March 1 and full payment is due by April 30. More information and applications are available on the CCOC website: www.cincinnatichurch.org.
